About Pamela Hawkins

Meet Pamela Hawkins, an educated, experienced and vibrant judicial candidate for the Court of Common Pleas, Juvenile Division. 

Pamela is a Cuyahoga County native, growing up in Cleveland Heights, graduating from Heights High School in 1984. She briefly moved to Arkansas to get her Bachelors' degree in Psychology and Child Development from Harding University. Soon after, she returned to Ohio to get her master’s in Education from Cleveland State and later a Master of Science in Social Administration from Case Western Reserve. Pamela worked as a social worker for 12 years and took a special interest in the legal side of social work. She decided to continue her education at Cleveland Marshall College of Law to receive her Juris Doctorate in 2003. Pamela is still an independently licensed social worker today as well as a licensed attorney. 

After law school she worked as litigation support for Litigation Management, Inc before going into private practice from 2007 to 2010.   She took a break from private practice to work for the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor’s Office as an Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for a little over 4 years. In 2015 she returned to her private practice that focuses on Juvenile and parent representation as well as Guardian at Litem work. In 2022 she is still working hard as a solo practioner in addition to her campaign. 

Pamela is an active member of her community; she is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association. She is an active member and volunteer in her church, serving in the church and helping them serve the community.
