Judge Pamela A. Hawkins brings more than two decades of legal experience and a career devoted to children and families to the Cuyahoga County Domestic Relations Court.
Meet Judge Hawkins
Born and raised in Cleveland, Pamela Hawkins has dedicated her professional life to serving people throughout Cuyahoga County. Her work as a social worker, attorney, solo practitioner and assistant prosecuting attorney gives her a broad understanding of the challenges families bring to the courtroom.
Judge Hawkins began her legal career through the Samuel H. and Maria Miller Pro Bono Fellowship, working with Applewood Centers' Juvenile Court Shelter Care Program. She later represented children and parents in Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court and served in the Children and Family Services unit of the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office.
Her legal knowledge and social-work perspective inform a thoughtful approach grounded in integrity, fairness and respect for every person who comes before the court.
